When Kirsty Sword Gusmao first began studying Indonesian at university she didn't imagine that she would end up playing such a key role in the independence of Timor Leste.
Working as a go between for the then jailed independence leader Xanana Gusmao and the international community, the two fell in love.
The story of their relationship and marriage is told alongside the story of Timor Leste's troubled and sometimes bloody journey to nationhood in a new documentary called Alias Ruby Blade.
It's screening nationally as part of the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival. Prime Minister Gusmao joins his wife Kirsty in The Drawing Room
