Professor Bryan Smith from Australia said Timor-Leste from this moment needed education to create engineers and experts to help support the country’s national development.
The professor made the comments after being the key speaker in one-day seminar which was held yesterday in Dili.
“Timor-Leste needs education at primary and secondary levels. But astronomy is something to think about as probably we do not need it just now,” he said.
Smith added that education was very important key for the country’s development in the future.
